Minutes of the Career day

 In accordance with HR committee decision, the Career day was hold at the Faculty of Fundamental medicine at

 Moscow State University on 25 of April 2006.

The event started at 16:30.

 

 Igor Smirnov opened the forum and introduced  the purpose of the event to students.

The career day was designed to inform students about the pharmaceutical business, about pharmaceutical companies

 working within the Russian market, and about how to find a job within a pharmaceutical company.

 

  The program included the presentation by Dmitry Fadeev on the structure

 and functions of a standard pharmaceutical company.

 

 He showed various departments and mentioned what type of specialist can find a job in such departments.

 Alexandra Bok and Madina Mamadnabieva informed students about AstaZeneka and its activity on the Russian market.

 They concentrated on medical representative positions in the company

 and various training programs targeting the developmental of medical representatives.

 Irina Olkhovenko gave the information about the labor market and the specific features of job searching in pharmaceutical companies.

 

  After the presentations soft drinks and juices were offered for all participants. Students asked questions

 and discussed with representatives of companies who presented on the meeting.

 

The deputy dean Prof. Vladimir Koshelew and deputy dean Ph. Dr. Elena Kalennikova participated in the meeting

 and expressed their gratitude for organization of the career day.
