Vasily Ignatiev, CEO, R-Pharm, became Vice Chairman of the AIPM Board of Directors

February 21, 2018, Moscow – The Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufactures (AIPM) announces that according to the Statutes and by the decision of the AIPM Board of Director, Vasily Ignatiev, CEO, R-Pharm, has been elected Vice Chairman of the AIPM Board of Directors.

Previously the position of Vice Chairman of the AIPM Board of Directors was held by Vadim Vlasov, President of Novartis Group in Russia, Regional Director of Novartis for Eastern, Central Europe, and CIS. Since January of this year, Vadim Vlasov has chaired the Board of Directors of the Association.

“I really appreciate the trust the AIPM Board of Directors members put in me. I believe that the experience I gained while working at international innovative pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as heading a large Russian pharmaceutical company that has taken its first important steps towards international markets, will be useful for the AIPM. Together with my colleagues, I hope to contribute to the achievement of the priority goals of the Association for development of the Russian innovative medicine market, the protection of intellectual property rights, and the improvement of legal regulations in the field of medicines’ circulation”, Vasily Ignatiev, R-Pharm CEO and Vice Chairman of the AIPM Board of Directors, noted.
