Mrs. Naira Adamian appointed the Chairman of AIPM Board of Directors

23 January 2014, Moscow – Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) announces that Mrs. Naira Adamian, Managing Director of Pharma division of “Johnson and Johnson” Russia & CIS, has been appointed the Chairman of the Board of Directors

In accordance with the requirement of the Statutes of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers regarding regular renewal of the Board of Directors leadership, Mrs. Naira Adamian, Managing Director of Pharma division of “Johnson and Johnson” Russia & CIS, has been appointedChairman of AIPM Board of Directors for a two-year period. For the past 6 years the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors was held by Mr. Patrick Aghanian, Vice President, Head of the Sanofi Eurasia region, General Manager at Sanofi Russia, who will continue his work in the Association as a member of the Board of Directors.

"Over the past few years AIPM devoted much attention to the strategy as well as to current issues, key priorities of the Association were identified, organizational structure was optimized. In light of the AIPM 20th Anniversary the international pharmaceutical industry faces many ambitious tasks, the fulfillment of which is intended to promote the development of healthcare system and drug supply in Russia. Today it is ever more crucial for us to focus on the implementation of planned activities, improving efficiency at all levels and insuring consistency of operations", - said Mrs. Adamian.

Throughout her career Mrs. Adamian held various positions in the company, took an active part in the life of industry associations, since 2011 acted as a member of the Board of Directors of AIPM.
