3 February 2020, Moscow – The Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) announces that according to the Statutes and by the decision of the AIPM Board of Directors Mrs. Oxana Monge, General Manager, Sanofi Eurasia, has been elected the Chair of the Board of Directors at AIPM.
Mrs. Oxana Monge has been working in pharmaceutical industry for over 19 years in different managerial positions, including marketing, strategic planning, and business management at multinational pharmaceutical companies both in Russia and on the international level. Since October 2018 Mrs. Monge has been appointed the General Manager at Sanofi Eurasia. In November of the same year she became a member of the Board of Directors at AIPM.
According to the Statutes, the Chair of the Board of Directors of AIPM is elected once in two years with a possibility for a one re-election.
"The contribution of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to the development of modern, socially responsible, advanced and patient-oriented pharmaceutical industry in Russia is hard to overestimate. Over the past 25 years, the Association has done much to help the Russian industry to approach the advanced global standards. Of course, there is still a lot of work ahead. I am grateful for your confidence and I accept this new position enthusiastically, being certain that our joint efforts are for the better of the pharmaceutical industry and for the better of Russian patients," - said Mrs. Monge, General Manager at Sanofi Eurasia, Chair of the Board of Directors of AIPM.
