AIPM recognized as the most influential non-profit association in the Russian pharmaceutical market in 2011

On March 19, 2012, Pharmatsevtichenskiy vestnik (Pharmaceutical bulletin) newspaper and “Pharmexpert” Market Research Centre announced the most influential entities of the Russian pharmaceutical market in 2011.

The annual review, which has been conducted more than 10 years, surveys independent market experts across various areas to rank influence in the Russian healthcare industry. Based on the answers provided by peers and industry experts, AIPM was named the Most Influential Non-Profit and Public Association by a wide margin.

“I’m very pleased to see that our efforts in 2011 to help develop the industry’s dialogue with leading government officials, scientific community, pharmaceutical distributors, medical groups and other market players, have been recognized and appreciated by industry experts. The ultimate objective of this work is to promote the modernization of Russia’s healthcare system at various levels through a variety of diverse projects designed to introduce advanced and efficient standards to provide people with high-quality medical care and medicines. We understand that such an ambitious goal can be achieved only through the highest levels of interaction within the association and outside it. We are open to new collaborations and ways to develop a multi-stakeholder approach,” - said Vladimir Shipkov, Executive Director of AIPM.

Pharmatsevtichenskiy vestnik (Pharmaceutical bulletin) newspaper and “Pharmexpert” Market Research Centre has developed a list of the most influential entities in the Russian pharmaceutical industry based on feedback from six market expert groups: scientists, government officials, representatives of Russian and foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers, representatives of distribution companies, and pharmacy directors. The goal of the project is to identify the driving forces in the national pharmaceutical market, the status and communication activity of its participants and their contribution to the development of the Russian pharmaceutical industry in general.
