On June 18, 2018 in Moscow the Regulatory Workshop was organized by Eurasian Economic Commission and AIPM & EFPIA with participation (F2F & VC format) of regulatory authorities of EAEU member-states, EU regulators, IT specialists and industry to discuss regulatory aspects, practical implementation issues and road map of eCTD implementation in ICH region & electronic submissions in EAEU region.

On May 15, 2018 in the frame of Russian Pharmaceutical Forum in St. Petersburg, a press briefing of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) was held, entitled “PHARMA 2030: what is needed to develop innovation and attract investment in the pharmaceutical industry in Russia?”.

At the end of April, 2018 the EAEU common market, regulating the circulation of medicines in the Union, was officially presented in Brussels within the framework of the international conference “Regional pharmaceutical markets of the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union – trends, challenges and best regulatory practices”.

February 21, 2018, Moscow – The Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufactures (AIPM) announces that according to the Statutes and by the decision of the AIPM Board of Director, Vasily Ignatiev, CEO, R-Pharm, has been elected Vice Chairman of the AIPM Board of Directors.

On April 7, 2017 – Association of international pharmaceutical manufacturers (AIPM) announces the expansion of its membership. AIPM General Assembly held on April 6, 2017 unanimously decided to include the international pharmaceutical company CSL Behring in the AIPM.

Prior to the launch of the common market of medicines on the territory of the EAEU member states, a unique round table for the regulators and the pharmaceutical industry, the “International experience of the creation of a regional market of medicines” (experience and example of the European Union & Eurasian Economic Union), was held in Moscow. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM), and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) were co-organizers of the event.

The opening ceremony was held with participation of Olga Kazanskaya, Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg, Marc de Garidel, Chairman of Board and Chief Executive Officer of IPSEN, David Panikashvili, President of Pharmaceutical Group ROSTA, Marina Veldanova, Head of representative office of IPSEN in Russia, Vladimir Shipkov, Executive Manager of Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM), Jean-Maurice Ripert, Ambassador of France in Russia and recognized experts of pharmaceutical sector.

April 14, 2015 – Association of international pharmaceutical manufacturers (AIPM) announces extension to its member list. The decision to include two new companies – Angelini and Glenmark, was made during AIPM General Managers Meeting.
 

The Associations discussed the specifics of the distribution of non-prescription drugs, as well as the implementation of the concept of responsible self-medication in Russia February 16, 2015 - The Board of Directors of the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry (AESGP) and AESGP Working Group on the Development of OTC-Market in Russia meetings were held in Moscow for the first time.

The first book written for public at large about medicines has been presented in Moscow. The authors, brought together by Vladislav Dorofeev, a well-known journalist and writer, collected facts and wrote their stories of the inventions and discoveries of ether and aspirin, haloperidol and smallpox vaccine, penicillin and Prozac, Viagra and Herceptin, hydrocortisone and cocaine, Losec and vitamins, insulin and lidocaine, and many others. By telling all these stories in an entertaining way, and invariably keeping true to the facts, the authors were not only able to take readers on a fascinating journey into the history and the present day of the drugs in our medicine box, but also provided an insight into pharmacy.

Representatives of international pharmaceutical industry shared their vision towards the solutions of key problems of the Russian pharmaceutical market and discussed the most important priorities for its further development.

March 28, 2014, Moscow – Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) announces extension of the member list. On March 26, 2014 during the General Meeting of AIPM members it was decided that international pharmaceutical company Allergan join the Association.
